I have another blog where I used to post about my life, including gardening, but the trend these days is to "specialize" your blog, so that's what I'm going to try to do here ;). This is really just for my personal use to keep track of my plans & ideas for my garden, but if anyone wants to follow along, they're more than welcome to do so :).
Today I had grand plans for the front that involved putting down newspaper & mulch on the left corner and the left foundation bed, but I woke up feeling like crap, so that didn't happen ;). I did get some containers moved from the patio to the front steps, & I trimmed & watered all the containers front & back. I also have what I hope is a decent plan to re-do (yet again) the shade bed to the left of the hydrangea. I planted a bunch of stuff Ann Marie gave me 2 years ago, but everything either didn't make it or was trampled last year when Alemka had the fence put in, so I'm going to try yet again. Most of the plants were ordered with the intention of putting them in the back in front of the 3 trees she & I cleared off this past winter, but now that they're going to spray that whole area to get rid of the ivy/jungle, I had to go to Plan B ;). I guess it makes more sense to start closer to the house & work my way back anyway, I just hope everything takes this time ;).
